A lot of gaming sites celebrate June as End Boss Month(maybe at least one of you has heard of this), and I was wondering if people here are willing to do so as well until June is over. Just pick your favourite final boss from a game and incorporate it into your picture or signature. Thoughts?

Self heals are what make end bosses shine!

That battle is a true test of skill, even at a high level if you can't keep up you might be wiped out in one fell swoop. Plus his dance moves are totally rad. Who's that in your sig, BTW, Kalis?

That would be 'The Boss' aka 'The Joy' from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Although the battle with her wasn't outstandlingly hard, its context and significance to the story was amazing. Also the setting just blew me away. Finally, she's just ridiculously cool.
My runner up for favorite end boss is Sephiroth, so I hope someone chooses him.

Well I can't think up an awesome boss to put in my sig. The only one who I think could help me is kalis. If you are there tell me if I have even shown much love for any specific boss.

Well I guess lavos' final form is quite the test of skill... moreso luck it was in my case due to me being very underlevelled. My boss isn't a test of skill, I like it more for the atmosphere and music it creates.
If your stuck on final bosses Earthbound, my advice is think of either your favourite game or the game you found hardest but beat. The best bosses sometimes are the ones that kick your ass and make you feel awesome for beating them, or of course they make or break a game to make it your favourite too, so yer try that.

If you are there tell me if I have even shown much love for any specific boss. I think you mentioned liking that robot thing from Earthbound? I'm not even sure if that's the final boss though. Aside from that I can't think of anything to do other than list other excellent final bosses. So we've got: Sephiroth, Bowser, Murai (Ninja Gaiden), KOS MOS (Despite neither of us playing it), Ganon, Captain Blue. Acutually you really liked Viewtiful Joe, and Captain Blue. I think you should pick Captain Blue even though I have no idea if that was a good fight or not. Or you could always pick good old Heihachi from Tekken, you really liked him in Soul Calibur. As a side note, this whole end boss thing has made me realize that the vast majority of end bosses are severly lacking in quality or appear very tacked on. This even seems to be the case in quality games (can anyone say FFX?). It's pretty disapointing.

I vastly dislike the term "end boss". I've always found it dumb, and refuse to say it. I'll always refer to it as "last boss". I'm not sure of my favorite last boss, but there was a couple good ones. Bowser, Smithy, Ganon(dorf) in OOT, Kefka, and I guess ExDeath was Ok... And I'm sure I'm forgetting many.

I actually agree, "final" is usually the term I use, but yeah, I didn't come up with the name.

In response to kalis i agree, i rarely like any end bosses unless they are well designed and very different from other bosses in the game. If they're just an ordinary boss, with lots of hp and a 1 hit ko attack I'm never that impressed.
