I've been reading on the message boards at Gamefaqs that today Mr. Iwata revealed that the prices of the Wii's Virtual Console games will range from roughly 500 and 1000 yen, which is around $4-$10 American. Sounds like an alright deal to me, but I don't expect to be buying more than 2 or 3 games for it, namely Kid Icarus and... I dunno, some SNES games that I missed. Obviously the cheaper games will be NES ones, while the more expensive ones will be for the N64.
What do you think of this news, and are you going to buy any VGC games?

That sounds pretty good. I was worried the N64 games might be a bit more expensive than that. I'll probably be buying some virtual console games, but I probably won't get carried away with it and buy a ton of them.

Oh, very nice! But I'm more focused on purchasing the coming major titles on the Wii. I might as well make the little time i have to play, a...revolutionary one! xD

I think I'll just stick with my emulators, unless there are some really good classic games that I would like to have just for the sake of owning them.

Yeah same, I might get a few classics. . . this won't be overly useful to me. I know some people whose old systems don't work so well anymore, so they'll probably benefit.

Those prices were for independant, original games. they haven't announced what classic game prices will be yet.

Hrm... I'm sure my brothers and I will get some of the VGC games, but we'll just have to see what comes out first. As much as I love our SNES, we've already fried two in the past, so it may be time for an upgrade, you know?
